Remembering Rob...
Thank you so very
much to all of you who have sent cards, ecards, letters, notes, calls,
etc. I can't seem to concentrate on anything, but, wanted you to have
this page to visit. I do a few mails per day & hopefully all the ecards
won't have expired before I get to see them. This is only a 'tiny' portion
of some of the mails you have sent in. I will continue to post them as
I feel up to it. I am so grateful to all of you, who stopped & remembered
me when my world stood still. I miss Rob terribly here beside me.
We were always together & we had so much fun & loving times. Rob
was kind & gentle, loving & a marvellous sense of humour. He was
an extremely intelligent man who was loved by all who met him. This whole
town is sad with me. They tell me sweet stories such as a lady who was frightened
when a truck was speeding down the street & she was scared for her
little one in the stroller. Rob took off into the middle of the street
to stop the truck, in his electric wheelchair. Nutty, but, courageous.
We all have many stories & have cried buckets of tears. I thank you
all for your kindness & thoughtfulness in our devastating time. I am
proud to have had the privilege to have Rob in my life. I'm glad you all
took notice when Earth was missing a great person & Heaven gained an

I have never experienced it in that way. The family

through a divorce, something I thought I would never

cry almost daily and the seperation was almost 2 yrs

My dear Patsy and Kay
My heart is so heavy for you.
I kind of know what you are going through as I lost my father
and my stepfather. (within a 4 year spread of her marrying him)
Now my mother just had a mini stroke in early November. She
is ok for now, no permanent damage, but it could happen again at any
time. She has about 60% blockage which they are trying to control with
drugs. Trial and error comes into effect here. I think they may have
it somewhat under control for now.
Patsy.......I thought about you on Sunday as I hung my sheets
out to dry on the clothesline. About all the times you put it in your
newsletter. About how you liked the outdoors smell in them. I do too
and even though it was so very cold and a winter storm advisory I still
could not resist the idea of doing it. I just kept an eye on the skies.
It stayed in my favor for sure, although later that day we got the snow,
rain and hail.
And then again last night (Monday) when I went to bed and could
still smell it. I said an extra little prayer for you, included Kay
and your mom also, hoping your grief will diminish and that you all talk
and talk and talk so things will not build up....that Rob is keeping an
eye on you and telling you he is in a better place with no worries anymore.

I feel you are a very strong person, but there are times like this when
we can use all the support available. There is nothing like having one's
family at hand to lean upon and as a fellow Maritimer I realize that

I just want to let you know how sorry I am for your recent loss.
It was a year ago December 16th that we lost my father in law at home.
Our family lives with them being that he had been sick and my mother in
law is completely deaf and has arthritis so bad throughout her back and
knees she could hardly walk. So it's been me who has been their care
taker for the past eight years. They had celebrated their 52nd anniversary
on the 8th of December and on the 16th he passed on. We all know
he we on to be with the Lord but, its sad when the ones who loves them
so very much are the ones left behind. In time when its our time
we will go to join them. Please don't feel you need to contact me
I just wanted you to know that my prayers are with you and your family and
if there's anything you could think that of I could be of help to you let
me know. I don't much about the Internet but I'm always willing to
learn. I've enjoyed you freebies and your little write ups.

I have not said much, because I don't
know what to say. I have been very depressed over this you and
Kay have helped me "greatly" and to hear this happened has not made me
feel good. The day after I got this I could not get out of bed until
past 3PM that is how depressed I was. There are other reasons I was depressed,
but this put it at a climax. I did ask someone who was religious to pray
for Rob when Kay asked me to. I am very sorry. I wish there was

I was very sorry to hear about your husband.
I know that very little if anything can help with the way you feel right
now. When I lost my father a few years ago there was nothing anyone
could say or do to make me feel better. I would love to be able to tell
you that it gets easier but I really don't feel that it does. I do think
however that in time you will learn to handle it better.
Patsy, just know that God is always with you I recently read
a story in your news letter about a little boy who died from cancer,
and I think that, that story was so very true.
I am sending you this hug because I needed someone to hug me
very badly when my father died, and I really don't think I would have
made it without the hugs I recieved, and I really hope that this helps
you in some small way.

our "SEEN" universe. This is where we ALL come
from and go to when set free from out "physical" bodies. There
is NO PAIN there and it is the most beautiful place. Our souls
remember it but our "bodies" do not. Open yourself to him and believe
that he can speak to you and you will be able to receive his messages.
BE thankful that his physical Pain was short. My parents took months
